The Foreign Exchange – Call It Home [2013]

Phonte and Nicolay are The Foreign Exchange. A soul/hip hop outfit that came to fruition through the Internet. Phonte from North Carolina and Nicolay from the Netherlands met on a popular music message board and, thus, their name.

I honestly can’t wait for this album to come out later this month. I own their first two albums ( I want the reissue of their first album just for the instrumentals!) with their debut album being my favorite one due to it being the most hip hop-influenced one.  They make the type of music you play with your boo on a Friday night, just chillin’ and enjoying each other’s company. Hah, I can only imagine… #foreveralone

Hopefully, I can catch these cats in concert one time! Phonte is hilarious and knows how to please the crowd.
